Human adipose-derived stem cells (HADSCs) cultured in a chondrogenic induction medium. (A) After one week of chondrogenic induction, HADSCs showed early cell condensation (arrow). (B) Cell aggregates (arrow) became larger in size and started to store matrices during the second week of chondrogenic induction. (C) Cell aggregates (arrow) became dense and dark in color, which denoted increased matrix deposition at the third week of culture in a chondrogenic induction medium.
