Adverse event: An event that prevents completion of the planned procedure and/or results in admission to hospital, prolongation of existing hospital stay, another procedure (needing sedation/anesthesia) or subsequent medical consultation

Incident: An unplanned event that does not interfere with completion of the planned procedure or change the plan of care
