APPSwDI/NOS2−/− mice receiving either control diet (N = 8, 4 male and 4 female) or lithium supplemented diet (N = 11, 4 female and 7 male), NOS2−/− (N = 7, 3 female and 4 male) and wildtype mice (N = 7, 3 female and 4 male) aged 12 months were tested on the two-day radial-arm water maze task. Data are shown as mean number of errors per block number. Each block comprises three trials. * indicates P<0.05, ** indicates P<0.01 for both the APPSwDI/NOS2−/− treatment groups when compared to NOS2−/− and wildtype mice for each block number.
