Total cellular proteins were extracted from the hippocampus of control and EID1 Tg mice and separated by SDS-PAGE (50 µg/lane). The levels of acetylated his3, corresponding βIII-tubulin and total his3 (A), or acetylated p53, corresponding βIII-tubulin and total p53 (B) in each sample were detected by Western analysis. No significant changes were found in total his3 and p53. β-actin was used as a loading control.
