Identification of HPV E7 (cancer-associated) interacting proteins. (A) Binding partners of HPV E7 proteins were identified by using an integrated immunoprecipitation–MS–CompPASS analysis approach. Colors in the heat map represent normalized weighted D scores, with an NWD score of at least 1 defining a high-confidence interaction between an E7 and a host cellular protein. (B) HPV16 E7 interacts specifically with CUL2 and ZER1, two proteins that form part of an enzyme that contributes to the HPV16 E7-mediated degradation of RB1, a tumor-suppressing protein.
