Sprouting of sympathetic fibers around RT97-positive neurons in dorsal root ganglia (DRG). Double immunostaining showed that in thoracolumbar DRGs, tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) immunoreactivity (white arrows) was present around RT97-positive cells (A–C, yellow arrow), but not calcitonin gene-related peptide- (D–F, yellow arrow) or IB4- (G–I, yellow arrow) positive cells.
