MICS-adjusted model includes all of the case-mix covariates as well as BMI, nPCR, serum levels of albumin, total iron-binding capacity, ferritin, creatinine, phosphorus, calcium, bicarbonate, blood white blood cell count, lymphocyte percentage, and hemoglobin.
