Detection of VP1 expression in cell lysates by Western blotting. Protein samples were separated on a 12% polyacrylamide gel and then transferred onto a PVDF membrane. The membrane was probed with a polyclonal antibody against the VP1 protein of CVA16, followed by a corresponding horseradish peroxidase-conjugated secondary antibody.
