Comparison of the NN50 count between the four OSAS groups. The NN50 count was significantly different (F=7.68, p=0.00008) when adjusted by systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), body mass index (BMI) and sleep efficiency (SE). The contrast test further showed that Group 1 was significantly different from Group 3 (p=0.001) and Group 4 (p<0.001). Similarly, Group 2 was significantly different from Group 3 (p=0.011) and Group 4 (p=0.001). OSAS: obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, NN50 count: the number of pairs of adjacent RR intervals differing by more than 50 ms in the entire analysis interval.
