Values were obtained from a semi-quantitative Northern blot hybridization assay. Total RNA from leaves, roots and calli of sugarcane hybrid cultivar was hybridized with a probe corresponding to TE074 and a probe from the constitutive gene ubiquitin. The intensity of the bands (a) and the background (b) were measured by densitometry. Values are normalized dividing the TE074 value by its corresponding ubiquitin value
