(A) Plot of the initial rate (V0) compared with crammer concentration. Monomeric crammer markedly inhibits Drosophila cathepsin L. (B) Dixon plot analysis of inhibition of Drosophila cathepsin L. This analysis is used to determine the inhibition constant (Ki) of the monomeric crammer. (C) Michaelis–Menten kinetics. Lineweaver–Burk analysis is utilized to determine kinetic parameters for Drosophila cathepsin L inhibition. The Km value for cathepsin L increases in the presence of crammer, whereas the Vmax value is unchanged.
