One hundred and thirteen patients with VLM diagnosed by laparoscopy or biliary drainage were examined by ultrasonography in “Dr. Gustavo Aldereguía Lima” hospital in Cienfuegos. One-third of the cases were infected with F. hepatica. The authors concluded that ultrasonography contributes to the diagnosis of VLM. |
