Spray flame (0.5 M zinc naphtenate and Pt (acac)2 in xylene) of (a) pure ZnO, (b–f) 0.2–2.0 at.% Pt/ZnO nanoparticles producing 5 mL/min of liquid precursor feed rate and dispersed by O2 (5 L/min) at 1.5 bar pressure drop across the nozzle tip. The flame heights were observed ranging from 10–12 cm with slight increasing the combustion enthalpy and Pt concentration.
