The CSD is shown as largely β-stranded, with the putative CRAC motif present at the transition between β- and α-structure. The C-terminal palmitoylation sites are also indicated. Note that the exact orientation and structure of the β-strands remain uncertain and may well reflect an antiparallel β-hairpin instead of a single strand as shown, and that the protein is thought to be part of an oligomeric assembly (not shown).
