Overall decrease of tumor numbers with increasing selenium supply and the presence of GPx2 was significant, o and *P < 0.05 (Fisher’s exact test) indicated at the left and lower edge. The effect of SFN in dependence of selenium, aP < 0.01 versus the respective selenium-poor group and bP < 0.01 versus the respective selenium-adequate group (Fisher’s exact test, pair-wise).
