(A) Dorsal injection of XTRPM7 MOs (75 ng) in embryos cultured in 0.1X MMR (0.1 mM Mg2+) inhibited gastrulation. Supplementation of Mg2+, but not Ca2+, into the culture media at 5 mM at stage 10.5 rescued the gastrulation phenotype.
