Distance to the bottom is reduced by the presentation of the stimulus and this effect is blunted by acute alcohol administration. Mean ± S.E.M. are shown. The data are expressed for three intervals separately, the pre-stimulus period (the first interval during which no stimulus was shown), the stimulus period (during which the moving black bird silhouette was presented multiple times), and the post-stimulus period (during which no stimulus was presented).
