Mice were subjected to 1 h of cerebral ischemia followed by 48 hours of reperfusion. Animals were injected with vehicle (control) or IA at 50 mg/kg i.p. at various times after the end of the ischemic period. A. Infarct volumes in mice subjected to time course of IA treatment. Animals were sacrificed after 48 hours and processed to determine the infarct volume. B. Neurological deficits in mice subjected to time course of IA treatment.
