Noted improved spatial resolution on the PET image, with better visualization of the skull lesion (open arrow) and L1/2 degenerative disc disease (solid arrow). Even the calcification of the femoral arteries (arrows) is visualized on the PET image. Careful correlation with the transmission CT is needed to determine etiology of focal uptake.
