Effect of PGE₂ on the expression of VEGF mRNA. HFL-1 cells were cultured in 60-mm dishes until confluence. The medium was changed to DMEM without serum for 2 hours, after which the cells were incubated with PGE₂ (1 × 10⁻⁷ M) for 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 6, and 24 hours.
