αβTCR^−/− (n = 5), γδTCR^−/− (n = 10), µMT^−/− (n = 5), SCID (n = 10) and C57Bl/6 (n = 5/experiment) (wild type, WT) mice were intranasally infected with 50 CFU/25 µl SchuS4. Three days after infection mice were treated once daily with 5 mg/kg LVF diluted in 5% dextrose water intraperitoneally for 14 days. * = p<0.05 compared to untreated mice and LVF treated αβTCR^−/−, γδ TCR^−/−, µMT^−/−, and SCID mice.
