(C) Differentiated SK-N-SH cells were treated with five different doses of NanoCurc™ (250 nM, 500 nM, 1 μM, 2.5 μM, and 5 μM). Cells in four wells did not have any drug and served as ‘vehicle’. All cells including the ‘vehicle’ were co-treated at the same time with 100 μM of H2O2. NanoCurc™ and H2O2 co-treatment was carried out for 24 h. The cells were harvested using M-PER buffer, and CTG assay was performed as described in ‘Materials and methods’ and in Fig. 1A. CTG result indicates that all doses of NanoCurc™ significantly protect differentiated SK-N-SH cells from H2O2 mediated damage.
