Intracellular ROS generation was measured using flow cytometry in bacteria loaded with H2DCFDA. Bacteria were treated with APCP for 2 minutes and analyzed at 30, 60 and 120 seconds after treatment. Data are expressed as the mean ± SE (percentage of fluorescence) of at least three independent experiments.
