a) A3G-ssDNA complex formation is differentially affected by the indicated small molecules (0.64 μM A3G, 0.08 μM ssDNA, 50 μM compound). As controls, DMSO did not interfere with complex formation, and BSA did not cause complex formation.

b) Representative EMSAs with A3G, ssDNA, and 2, 5, and 10 μM of MN26 or MN30. Most catechol containing compounds such as MN30 do not influence A3G-ssDNA complex formation.
