graphic file with name znl01312-9722-t05.jpg

a

This list does not take into account disorders currently represented on lists other than DYT or PARK which can present with predominant parkinsonism (e.g., some spinocerebellar ataxias).

b

Due to a founder effect, genetic testing is possible. The pathogenicity of the TAF1 gene is not absolutely confirmed; however, testing of selected variants in this gene is sufficient for the diagnosis.

c

For these entries, the gene has been identified but the Human Genome Organisation Gene Nomenclature Committee has not yet provided a gene name. To make it clear that the gene has been identified, we use the protein name in these locus symbols.
