Ovalbumin (OVA) -specific intestinal IgA but not serum IgA or IgG titres are reduced in CD47−/− mice. Wild-type (WT) and CD47−/− mice were fed OVA and cholera toxin (CT) three times. One week later (a) anti-OVA-specific IgA and (b) total IgA in perfused intestines, or (c) anti-OVA-specific IgA and (d) IgG titres in serum were determined.
