PKR^kd HeLa cells were transfected with the indicated plasmids and at 15 h after transfection were either mock infected (−) or infected (+) with C^ko virus. At 24 h after infection total RNA was prepared and IFN-β transcript levels normalized to GAPDH were determined using quantitative real-time PCR.
