α-TC1–6 cells were incubated, for 72 h, with or without 0.5 mM palmitate (Pal) (gray bars, without Pal; black bars, with Pal) in the presence or absence of ISV (10⁻⁸ to 10⁻⁶ M). The cells were then incubated in medium containing 2 mM glucose (A) or 18 mM glucose (B) for 2 h. Data is presented as mean ± SEM of 18–20 samples per group from three independent experiments.
