Pyridoxine increased the ox-LDL-reduced phosphorylation of eNOS Thr495. Cells were pretreated for 15 min with pyridoxine (10−7 mol·L−1), followed by incubation with 20 mg·L−1 ox-LDL for another 24 h. The expression of phosphorylated eNOS Thr495, total-eNOS and β-actin was measured. Pyridoxine increased ox-LDL-reduced phosphorylation of eNOS Thr495. Phosphorylation was quantified densitometrically as the ratio of phospho-Thr495-eNOS/total-eNOS (n = 5 *P < 0.05 vs. control, ###P < 0.001 vs. ox-LDL).
