The APC 1114 and APC 1131 nonsense mutations originally had a U residue in the −1 position, which we replaced with a C residue. For each sequence, the two different codons at the P-site are recognized by the same tRNA (Table 2). Readthrough efficiencies were measured as described in Figure 1. Each value shown is the mean of at least five independent experiments. The original nucleotide is underlined on each graph.
