Scores are standard scores (mean 100 ± 15) unless otherwise indicated.

Shaded and bolded group medians indicate a significantly higher median for the TYP or SIB group relative to the SLI group (Mann–Whitney U test, p < 0.015 using B–H method FDR; (Narum, 2006).

aNumber of actions demonstrated with the right hand (out of a maximum of 10).

bScores for the General Communication Composite obtained with the age appropriate Communication Checklist. Scores greater than 58 are considered normal.

cScores represent percentile categorisations: 1 = <2nd, 2 = 2nd–10th, 3 = 10–25th, 4 = 25–75th, 5 = >75th.
