The linear regression of K_i on:

1. ${\mathrm{F̅}}_i^n$ – average finger forces across all trials for each subject/day combination and
2. $\overline{\raisebox{1ex}{$F_i^n$}\!\left/ \!\raisebox{-1ex}{$F_{\mathit{\text{VF}}}^n$}\right.}$ – average sharing ratio contribution of individual finger force in the VF normal force.

s is the slope of the linear regression; r is the correlation coefficient between K_i and the corresponding independent variable. Note that the K_i values for the middle, ring and little fingers are normalized by the K_in.
