The Mössbauer spectra show that before thermal treatment the sample is represented by a (superparamagnetic) Fe3+ doublet. After thermal treatment at 400°C the material still remains a superparamagnetic phase similar to the initial material. The spectra above 500°C have the presence of sextets, they represent the conversion of FhSRO to a more stable phase, hematite.
