Sensitivity of M. xanthus DK1622 to copper during growth. Cells grown in the absence of copper were diluted to an OD₆₀₀ of 0.05 in CTT medium with the indicated copper concentrations. Cell density was monitored after incubation at 30°C for 24 h. Experiments were performed in triplicate. Error bars indicate standard deviations.
