Impaired afferent arteriolar autoregulatory capacity in male Cyp 4a14 (−/−) mice. Kidneys from adult Cyp 4a14 (+/+) (n = 6 mice; n = 10 vessels) and (−/−) mice (n = 5 mice; n = 10 vessels) were perfused as described in Methods, and the effects of changes in perfusion pressure on the diameter of the afferent arterioles were monitored by videomicroscopy.
