(C) Schematic presentation of wild-type p53 and its deletion mutants. Sf9 cells were co-infected with baculoviruses encoding either wild-type or deletion mutants of Flag-Dmp1 and HA-p53. Lysates were immunoprecipitated with (B) anti-HA agarose or (D) anti-Flag M2 agarose and analyzed by Western blotting with Dmp1 and p53 antibodies. Bold Dmp1 or p53 mutants showed partial interaction with p53 or Dmp1, respectively. Bold plus asterisk mutants showed no interaction.
