Structures of terpenoid phenols found in plant essential oils, with closely related precursors. A subset of these compounds elicit Ca2+ and pH transients and are active as antifungals. Compounds with MIC greater than 0.5 mg/ml are grouped as inactive. Amiodarone, a cationic amphipathic drug used to treat cardiac arrhythmia that moonlights as an antifungal agent, also elicits ion dysregulation.
