Nasal cavity: Mucosal erosion of the turbinate. Slight erosion, focal inflammation and/or focal squamous metaplasia of the respiratory epithelium are occasionally seen in the nasal septum and turbinate and are caused by an inserted nasogastric catheter used for the intragastric administration.
