Uterus: Focal inflammatory cell infiltration in the endometrium. Focal lymphoplasmacytic infiltration occurs occasionally in the endometrium. This lesion differs from estrus cycle-related changes, although some inflammatory cells generally infiltrate into the apical endometrial tissue in the late luteal phase (ischemic phase of uterus).
