H2O2 production in Ler (wt), IG-2, and IG-3 Arabidopsis cell cultures after treatment with bacteria and fungal elicitors. Arabidopsis Ler (wt), IG-2, and IG-3 were filtered and resuspended in fresh medium at 250 mg mL−1. After recovery, the cell cultures were elicited with 100 μg mL−1 F. oxysporum cell wall elicitor (A), 1 μm Flg22 (B), 1 μm Elf26 (C), or 100 μg mL−1 oligogalacturonide (OG; D). At 20-min intervals, H2O2 production was measured by the xylenol orange assay, as described in “Materials and Methods,” and normalized against Ler (wt). Representative graphs from three independent experiments are shown.
