A. 3D volume obtained from MEMRI showed significant reduction in chemotherapy group compared with the control group in weeks 6 and 8 (p<0.05). B. Comparable CNR is noted between the chemotherapy and the control groups (p>0.05). There is a trend towards higher CNR in the chemotherapy than the control group at weeks 4 and 6, suggesting Mn2+ accumulation. This is followed by a trend towards lower CNR in the chemotherapy group at week 8, implying cell death and loss of intracellular Mn2+ (p>0.05). C. Average luciferase activity is significantly reduced in the chemotherapy group compared with the control group in weeks 6 and 8 (p<0.05).
