Effect of PRMT1 on the homo-oligomerization of ASK1. The 293T cells were transfected for 48 h with indicated combination of expression vectors for ASK1–Myc, ASK1-Flag, HA-ASK1(1–656), Flag-ASK1(1–656), and Flag-PRMT1. The cells were then left untreated or treated with 1 mM H₂O₂ for 15 min, lysed, and subjected to immunoprecipitation with antibodies to Myc epitope (a) or to HA epitope (b). The resulting precipitates were subjected to immunoblot analysis with anti-Flag antibody. Cell lysates were also examined directly by immunoblot analysis with indicated antibodies
