A freshly harvested pig heart is mounted on the rotary plate through the LV base with the apex stabilized and connected to a pulsatile pump through a balloon secured in the LV cavity. The digital interface was used to synchronize rotational, linear, and pulsatile motion to simulate physiologic motion of heart.
