Each box represents the interquartile range (25 -75%) of values, the whiskers represent 10% and 90% values, the middle line represents median value and the circles represent patients who fell outside the 10% and 90% range. CD55 levels differed significantly on the basis of RBC age and anaemia status. P value indicates significance of relationship to anaemia status.
