Cytokine release from macrophages in response to Aβ40, Aβ42, IAV, or SA. Sera from wild type (WT, MBL sufficient) or MBL null (MBL deficient) mice were incubated with peritoneal macrophages in the presence of the ligand indicated by the bar graph legend, as described in section 2.
