Comparison of the NH₂-terminal polypeptide sequence of GroEL of A. vinelandii with those of other organisms. Thirty-two amino acids of GroEL of A. vinelandii have been sequenced and compared with known sequences by using blast (NCBI, Bethesda, MD). NH₂-terminal polypeptide sequences of the highest similarities are shown. P. aeruginosa = Pseudomonas aeruginosa, P. stutzeri = Pseudomonas stutzeri, P. putida = Pseudomonas putida, A. salmonicida = Aeromonas salmonicida, and P. multocida = Pasteurella multocida.
