Cells were infected with recombinant adenovirus expressing myc-tagged DN-AMPK 4 days after seeding. Immunohistochemical staining with myc-antibody was performed following SA-Gal staining. Infected cells were easily detected by cytosolic staining with myc-antibody. SA-Gal staining was diminished by repeated washing during immuno-staining but was still detectable. Almost all infected cells were enlarged and stained positively for SA-Gal.
