Effects of OxPAPC on total and VE-cadherin–specific tyrosine (Tyr) phosphorylation. (A) ECs stimulated with 10 μg/ml or 100 μg/ml OxPAPC for indicated periods of time were lysed and used for immunoblotting analysis with anti-phosphotyrosine antibodies. Staining with β-actin antibody was used as a normalization control. (B) ECs were stimulated with OxPAPC (10 μg/ml or 100 μg/ml) for indicated periods of time, and VE-cadherin phosphorylation at Tyr731 and Tyr731 was examined by Western blot analysis. Staining with VE-cadherin antibody was used as a normalization control. (C) ECs were stimulated with 100 μg/ml OxPAPC for 15 minutes, fixed, permeabilized, and stained with anti-pTyr731 VE-cadherin antibody.
