MG132 reversed the cPTIO-mediated repression of HA-FIT. HA-FIT abundance is shown in roots of HA-FIT 9 plants grown at –Fe or +Fe and treated as indicated for 24 h with 1 mm cPTIO and for 4 h with 100 μm MG132 (MG). Plants were grown in the 6-d agar growth system. HA-FIT protein was detected by western blot using anti-HA monoclonal antibodies (top panel); Ponceau S was used as the loading control (bottom panel).
