  1. Peer-reviewed studies of adult human subjects (18+) attempting to develop PSG scoring method for REM sleep without atonia in RBD or validate an existing method.

  2. Peer-reviewed studies of adult human subjects (18+) attempting to develop subjective/questionnaire measurement for RBD or validate an existing one.

  3. Peer-reviewed studies of adult human subjects (18+) that have used and reported normative and quantitative data that can yield sensitivity and specificity accounts on an existing PSG scoring method of REM sleep without atonia in RBD or an existing standardized questionnaire for RBD diagnosis.

  4. Peer-reviewed studies of adult human subjects (18+) attempting to evaluate existing diagnostic criteria for RBD

  5. Peer-reviewed intervention studies of adult human subjects (18+) that have reported published diagnostic measurement data both before and after the intervention.

  1. Studies using non-published questionnaires and did not provide validation information on the measurement used.

  2. Studies using undisclosed methods for diagnosis of RBD.

  3. Studies excluding for RBD or that did not use RBD as a group in their analysis.

  4. Animal studies

  5. Case reports

  6. Review studies and reports

  8. Non-peer reviewed sources
